Domain parking

Additional domains can be pointed pointed your site.  For example, you may own YourNameStudio.com and YourName.info, and you can point both domains to your site by doing the following:
 

• Change the name server settings for the additional domain.
• Wait around one hour for these changes to flow through
• Go to icompendium.com/accounts > Login > Edit > Domains > New. and add your new domain like so:

Can I have MyOldDomain.com redirect to MyNewDomain.com?
Yes.  When you park a new domain, your site displays at all the domains the same way.  However, if you wish to give one domain priority (for example, you may want to let others expire) this can be done.  Email help@compendiummedia.com for this.

If I register geometic-abstract-paintings.com and point this to my site, will this help my search rank?
It's unlikely.  Google will determine a primary domain for your site and ignore the other domains.  Because a domain like geometic-abstract-paintings.com contains general keywords, it will likely face difficult competition from more established sites.
